The first principal of true teaching is that nothing can be taught, for the teacher is not an instructor, but rather a helper and a guide. Her role is to suggest and not impose. She does not actually train the pupil’s mind, but only shows them how to perfect their instruments of knowledge and helps and encourages them in the process. She does not impart knowledge, but shows how knowledge can be unfolded within oneself...

I am proud to be working alongside the wonderful Kathryn Beet as assistant director, co-coordinator and co-teacher for Yoga Space: Toronto's 200 hr and 300 hr Yoga Alliance registered teacher training and personal development programs.

I am the creator of the Restorative Yoga training program at Yoga Space, and the instructor.

My primary teacher training expertise is in:

  • yoga history

  • yoga philosophy

  • Indian religious traditions

  • Indian mythology

  • yoga scripture study (especially, but not exclusively where it pertains to the yoga tradition);

  • chanting

  • meditation

  • Sanskrit studies

  • classical hatha yoga, vinyasa and restorative yoga.
